All of my classes will partake in "Financial Fridays" where we specifically focus on financial literacy, life skills, and economics. Students will identify and demonstrate decision-making skills and be able to recognize that the decision-making process requires conflict and compromise. Summary and reaction exercises will require them to define goals and discuss resources necessary to meet these goals. All learners should also be able to describe the importance of earning income, managing personal finances, and setting priorities. We will discover these and numerous other economic and real-life concepts that they will be sure to use now, in the future, and every day moving forward.
