Working in an inner city school (which has great resources for reading) I have noticed we are lacking in STEM/STEAM resources (whichever acronym you call it). We have hired a science teacher but there are a lot of worksheets. It is my goal to use these resources in my classroom to help my students tap into the creative and imaginative side of their brains and see how we use Science/Technology/Engineering/Arts/Math in our everyday lives! If they see how fun it can be; it can open their minds to careers and hobbies in the future they might not have thought about before!
