I am a new teacher with limited books for my classroom library. It is important that students have access to texts they can relate to. When students can make personal connections to what they read, they are more motivated to learn and find joy in reading! By funding my classroom library, I will be able to provide my students with a variety of books that are representative of our student population. Additionally, my students will be able to choose the kinds of books they are genuinely interested in, fostering the development of stronger readers and thinkers.

About my class
