I want real-world projects to teach civics to middle school students. Students need to understand their rights, government, and politics in order to vote and be knowledgeable about how they can be an asset to our nation. Financial literacy is also a part of the curriculum. It will benefit the students to see how the IRS operates as well as how to budget and save money rather than using credit to obtain what the need or desire. The books will allow students various texts that are on their various reading levels. Any additional resources will be very helpful.
