The Sphero- Bolt will be used along with our STEM bins. I will be implementing these for the first time this year. Bolt will teach students how to code, problem solve, and work cooperatively. Students will work with a partner to complete task cards designed to have the Sphero complete a task. They will also have to opportunity to explore what Bolt can do on their own. He will also serve as our class "pet." In conjunction with our classroom economy, it will be one student's job to properly maintain Bolt. My students will learn how to properly take care of technology. This will be an amazing opportunity for them!
