Most of my kindergartners are English Learners and come from extremely diverse backgrounds. Their cultures and backgrounds enrich our classroom environment. We are learning to be a community and support each other by encouraging others to take risks.
My focus is to increase students' phonemic awareness which is a critical foundational skill for early literacy success. These supplies, Phonemic Learning Centers and Write & Wipe boards will help support the instructional goals for my kindergartners while also making learning fun.
