Students will be able to use the Chromebook computers in class to read and annotate texts digitally. They will be able to write essays, conduct valuable research, and use platforms to practice making podcasts, videos, and all kinds of exciting learning. The environmental impact would be great, as we do not have textbooks at our school and must print everything. Many of my students do not own computers at home. If they do not get the chance to use and explore on computers at school, they will fall behind peers that do get that chance. My students recognize that our school uses a lot of paper, and I think that it is important for them to know that we are not helpless to fixing issues such as these. By funding this project, you would be showing my students that change can happen.
