I am requesting several books that are on the Young Hoosier Book list which is a group of books nominated by many professionals and students in the education field. This will be the second year that I have requested books from the Young Hoosier list and so far all of my current books are checked. Also included in this request are books that students have requested to read, as well as books I feel will pique the interest of my students. I hope that these books will help my students stimulate self-selected reading. The books on this list are exciting, reach many topics and genres, and bring in a love of reading. If students find books that they like to read they are more likely to continue to read as they get older and have a joy of reading.

About my class
