The international snacks I have selected will be used to teach my scholars about countries around the world and their cultures. Most of my students have never been on a plane before but are extremely curious about faraway places. The interactive globe will not only allow them to see other countries but learn about them too.
Allowing my students to experience far away places that they have never before is important to me. I have selected some snacks, small toys, and pens so that I will be able to reward my students for achieving their character and academic goals. Items that I've selected will allow my students to come into a classroom that feels warm and exciting. I remember my elementary school experience and how safe and welcomed I felt in my classroom as a child. I want to create a similar experience for my students.
The headphones will allow my students to learn and do different things at the same time. Sometimes students are reading independently while others are working on learning programs on their computers but with no headphones, it can be very distracting to their teammates. If all students in my class had their own headphones they could learn using their Chromebooks in more interactive ways to enhance their learning experience.
