My project is all about the students. Students need to know that my classroom is where we have fun learning, and also where they know that they are in a safe and welcoming environment. Hands on resources really help students get a feel for what they are learning. This will also help to comprehend better. The flexible seating will allow the students to feel comfortable while they do centers instead of seating on a hard floor. Having different types will also help the students know what center they need to be at. The social studies and ELA resources will help me give the students extra fun resources that are hands on during center time. Students need to use the knowledge they know to help others as well as themselves. When they just sit and listen to the teacher the whole time then they only retain very little.
