My classroom has a bee theme because my in-laws were beekeepers for years. The kids love learning about them, and the bee rug especially would be a great place for them to gather to learn about reading and math. They also love to play with the cars during social skill practice time, and need a specific place to pretend with the cars.
Having a defined place to sit will help them to be more engaged, and less likely to become disruptive. The rugs will give my kids their own space to learn academics, and practice social skills.
By donating to my project you will be a part of helping our students to be engaged, and learn the skills they need to be successful in life.
