My students have diverse learning needs. They all move and grow in different directions. With assistive technology, they can have access to a vast number of learning tools that will address their needs as a learner. I want to use technology to provide a safe environment where students can access technology without distractions.
In my classroom I plan to use flexible groups with guided lessons that use the internet applications, and QR codes to encourage a learning environment that is 21st century. Students will have access to programs that will assist them in closing the gaps of their misconceptions in our classroom. They will also use the tablets to read audiobooks and well as ebooks. My classroom will encourage them to embrace a world that fears technology and synthesize that world to enhance it.
