Two years ago my school cut the art education program. I know for our demographics our students will benefit emotionally, mentally, and academically. I want my students to experience and tap into their creativity where they not only become a better version of themselves but they change their mindset and know that they have a purpose in life. By donating to our school you will restore the hope in humanity to our school and our students. The majority of our students live in a shelter, have no food to eat, or happen to grow up to early (paying the bills and taking care of their siblings). What better way for our students to express internally what they are feeling or going through than by being creative. My philosophy is that being creative is a process and healing is a process, hence, Art Therapy!
