This rug will help tie in different aspects of the music themes taught in the classroom. It adds interactive areas for learning games, and also to help reinforce the rituals of how to sit in the classroom.
The music staff on the middle of the rug will help the 4th and 5th graders learn the names and locations of each note. The younger grades will use the pictures around the outside of the rug to identify musical instruments and musical symbols. The bright colors also will help with asking the students where to sit and where to find a specific musical item.
