One of the obstacles teachers face is making the lessons relevant to students. If students cannot see the real-world applications for each topic, they lose interest quickly. Time is limited with the constraints of high-stakes testing. But, with an increase of technology, we can do more.
We want to use the interactive CD, kits and equipment to allow students to move the information in real-time. The laboratory kits and equipment provide opportunities for my classes to test many of topics we study and find ways to expand on them. Since they are short, we can do them in less time and still be effective in teaching and preparing them for critical thinking skills for the test and high school tasks.
