From the moment my students enter 2nd grade, I encourage them to read, read, read. I provide an assortment of books, articles, and more. We are lucky enough to have 1-1 iPads in our room. However, they did not come with headphones. By providing my students with headphones, they will have the opportunity to log into sites such as EPIC, where they will be able to choose audio books and listen to stories. Audio books are beneficial for students to listen, read and learn. They will help improve the literacy of my students, especially those that struggle or are English language learners. My goal is to have strong independent readers. By funding this project, you will be helping me reach that goal!
