I'm so excited about the potential of teaching our students the life-long skill of sewing and cooking! The Singer 1304 Start Sewing Machines and basic supplies will help us get our Sewing and Cooking Genius Hour class off to a strong start. More and more students each year are not exposed to the fun and life-long skill of sewing at home. Most students have never seen a sewing machine in action. Not only will they learn the skill of sewing, but they will also have the opportunity to strengthen their math, logic and design skills while creating items that will serve our community.
