My students are struggling to continue learning at home in poverty and challenging environments. With my students using our district provided Chromebooks at home, I am currently using a small whiteboard to write math and language arts examples. It is difficult for my students to see, and leads to further confusion. Unfortunately, the majority of our parents do not possess the required skills to help their children.
I believe my students would be further helped by seeing my examples in mathematics, writing, and art in real time using the iPad and Osmo set (which has an amazing document camera ability!) during our daily zoom meetings.
