This year I have, more than any other year, invested in technology/small gadgets that not only optimize my teaching space and practice but are quite essential in order to improve the workings of my every day classroom
I have ALREADY (via Amazon) in the below items ( I had no idea I was supposed to do it via Amazon's DONOR CHOOSE connection) and I think the utility of the purchases are a given. I will explain the need/use of these purchases:
I invested in Speakers (most expensive purchase) primarily because my current speakers are not strong enough, especially when I have FOUR fans on because there is no ventilation nor air-conditioning (thus purchase of fans) in our building and it is impossible to hear over this noise.
Our district did give us all new computers, but that did not include dongles and other essential connectors, for example.
I have ONE outlet in m y classroom, thus the need for power strips.
Laser pointer, mouse, paper cutter, laminator sheets – all just facilitate what I do and make my work easier and more professional:
Spent approx $250.00 on (not including shipping nor tax!):
1. Presentation Clicker Remote Laser Pointer - Slideshow PowerPoint Clicker - $15.-
2. USB C to HDMI/DVI/VGA Adapter, Male to Female Multi-Display Video Converter $30.
3. POLEYN Wireless Mouse for Laptop, $11.
4. Logitech Z313 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System $40.
I just canceled this order and re-ordered via Ðǿմ«Ã½ !
5. 2 Power Strips = $60.
6. 2 Powerful Airflow Whole Room --Just bought another one that helps w/ air purification perfect for COVID!) did is via amazon's donor's choose
7. WORKLION Paper Cutter - $9.
8. VGA Cable, to Projector-6Feet $9.
9. Laminator Sheets - $14.
