First graders love learning and doing work on the floor! This colorful rug will give them a comfortable space to learn. When I’m reading a book, the colorful squares will be helpful for them to each have their own personal space to listen. It will also be helpful when they are asked to sit in rows. We not only read on the rug, but we also do math on the rug. This rug will provide a comfortable learning area for students to work. I can also use the squares on the rug to teach math concepts like measuring and geometry.
