Thank you for considering my project! Kindergarteners learn through hands-on and small group activities! This is best done at a kidney table. The school does not have the funds to provide me with a kidney table. I lead guided reading groups every morning, finding it difficult at the desks provided, this table would be ideal. I also work with small groups on writing and math skills. We currently use chunky desks that only seat four children at a time or we sit on the floor so I can better reach them than at the desks. The table will also be used for parent/teacher conferences and teacher meetings.
