Reading in music class! Literacy is important in all subjects! I would like to use these books to provide quality stories to enrich the lives of my students and create a music library. I have listed books that are great stories of music, people, as well as character building, emotions, musical terms, and composers. We are tasked with teaching and helping to develop the whole person in each of our students. We care about each of our students and want to see them succeed. I will use the books to read to my students or during a quiet time. My students will also get to read them in their music stations. The books will also help to tie together our lessons, also giving the students a chance to be "good audience members", building their listening skills.
