The math. alphabet and phonics materials I am requesting for my students will help us begin the rebuilding process of our classroom. Our classroom sustained significant damage from Hurricane Ida, and with your help and generosity we can begin rebuilding.
Kindergarten is a vital year to establish a good foundation for students’ futures. Students will work cooperatively with each other in hands on math, letter and phonics learning centers. What better way to do this than through play!
Students will practice in hands on learning centers to reinforce concepts that are taught in the classroom with the use of fun activities and play. These center materials will allow students of all learning styles to learn while having fun. Students will have the opportunity to use these materials daily.
Learning centers might include math puzzles, counting activities, sight word puzzles, snap building, touch and match cards, snap addition, and word building.
