Coaching any sport is important. The school I teach in more than half of the families live below poverty level. Sports are so important they give these kids a chance to make friends and build self confidence. It is good for their health and academics. I want to be able to give them every opportunity to succeed in their craft. Sports are the thing that will keep some of them out of trouble and on the right path. This is something that will stick with them through high school and beyond.
I am not just coaching the game of softball. I am building leaders, instilling life skills, and making them the best they can be. I am building up young people to be empowered to take on everything that comes there way.
About my class
