These calculators will help my students be able to have the tools to work through math problems and advance in our tasks. Several of my students come to class without a calculator which causes some additional struggles when trying to solve problems. By using calculators at the high school level, students are able to perform computations to move forward to solving more difficult problems. This causes kids to be able to get correct solutions and feel successful when solving problems. Scientific and graphing calculators will allow my students to persevere through more difficult problems and feel successful in our classroom. Students who have these as resources have an additional tool to help them gain self-confidence in their math abilities and perform the necessary computations correctly.
