The books requested in this project will allow students a variety of learning opportunities. They will be read aloud texts about different human conditions around the world and how that affects students that are like them. They will also take part in book clubs to read one of the titles with peer groups. By donating to this project you are not only giving my students the opportunity to learn about different groups of people, but also helping them improve their comprehension and engagement with texts. Students will all have a book to read from in their book clubs. This project provides one book for each student to read and a set of read aloud texts for all students. By donating you'll help my students improve their empathy, take part in helping the community through service projects and improving their engagement and understanding of a variety of texts.
