My students are 5th grade English Learners who are first generation low-income immigrant families. Our school is a public school located near downtown Los Angeles, California. 98% of our students qualifies for free or reduced meal program. We are a Title I school as well as a Performance Improvement school. Many of my students are struggling to learn and understand the English language.
