The materials I have chosen today were carefully picked to match the goals of our classroom.
As I approach this school year with a group of English Language Learners materials such as Snap Words, ten frames, math mats, number lines and fluency phones are essential to meeting then needs of my diverse learners. Having hands on materials only increases the chances that my students will be able to close the achievement gap even sooner between themselves and their native speaking peers.
Additionally, a pocket chart holder will be the home to our Snap Words so they may stay alive in our classroom and help us develop a more complete understanding of reading and speaking english!
