All new language learners have a difficult time reading in a foreign language. It seems to be especially hard when students do not have the resources to try and read in a foreign language using simple books that reach them at their level. This project is meant to help language learners with the ability to endeavor to read texts in Spanish that interest them. Instead of relying on the textbook to learn the language, students can use books from which they can pull background knowledge to learn in Spanish. Students will not only feel more confident in their language skills, but will be able to use background knowledge and context clues to support their reading.

About my class
