Math manipulatives are essential tools to help students grasp tough math concepts - and fifth grade has a heavy focus on fractions and place value. Cuisenaire Rods and Fraction Bars help students visualize tough concepts with fractions, and the coins will help students connect decimals to "real world math." These manipulatives will allow my students to work through their challenging math problems in a way that really engages them and supports their learning. Students learn at their own pace - and these manipulatives will help those students who need a more hands-on approach find success. That is why I am asking for your help in providing my students with the tools they need to succeed.
