My students will fall in love with the Qball throwable microphone. I plan on using it to increase participation during our Math Talks, especially with the quietest learners and those most reluctant to share their mathematical thinking. Sharing can be scary, but I know my students will love the opportunity to get out of their seats and throw the microphone ball. The speaker in the ball will also help us to be able to hear all learners' magnificent ideas which is sometimes difficult in a class of 30 plus learners. This microphone ball will make Math Talks my students' favorite time of the day. This one piece of technology has the potential to transform learning in our classroom.
