The tablets will increase students' engagement and provide another way to deliver information to students. They will also enable students to interact with other math resources. This is a way to get them to be the drivers as it relates to their learning and the teacher the facilitator. In order to realize full success in math this school year, there are certain support programs such as IXL and iReady that students will need a computer, chromebook or tablet to access. We currently have no such devices and also there is no smart board at the school. My students deserve better and this is a part of my effort to afford them better. Tomorrow's leaders deserve the very best, otherwise we will have a dismal future to look forward to.
