To better understand why our students would benefit from these resources, one must understand the school community in which our students come from. Our school is blessed to be widely diverse with a variety of different races, cultures, religions, and those living with special needs. Not only do we encourage acceptance of other's differences by embracing a "family style" environment within our building, but a diverse community of cultures yields diverse minds, thinking, and creativity for future generations.
By providing our students with culturally diverse dramatic play toys and STEM kits, our students will not only begin to accept the differences of others, but will be challenged to problem solve and think critically in an ever changing world.
