These materials will make a difference in my students learning because they are interactive, fun and engaging materials. I believe children learn by hands-on activities.
"Play" is so important during a Pre-k child's development and in my classroom we have center time twice a day.
It is important that I have ample materials available and ready to use. With these materials I have selected students will have more choices during center time. Students will be able to use the Creepy Crawlers tablet during science centers. The tablet gives students information on each insect and ask questions. Students will be able to use the Dino kit during center time in the sand/sensory bucket. Lastly, I have added flexible seat cushions for students who need that extra "wiggle" room within their seats. Being able to move around will help students focus on the task provided and also get their wiggles out.
