Computer Science is more than just sitting down at a computer and typing! Did you know that you can learn about Computer Science with items such as beads, dice, playing cards, and string? For example, cards are used in algorithm development as the students become "human machines", beads are used to make "binary bracelets and key chains" representing their initials in binary, and many more activities like this I will be teaching, once again, 2 sections of AP Computer Science Principles using the code.org curriculum. Part of the beauty of this curriculum is that it has many activities that help understanding that are NOT on the computer. Because of this, there are many every-day items needed for this class. Any help will be great! Thank you so much!
