I am a first year special education teacher coming into my first classroom with very little supplies. All of the materials for my project are materials that will be used and needed every day. I will be able to use the easel during my small groups to create learning aids with the students. I will be able to hang up some of these anchor charts to help my students throughout the year. An easel is small and very easy to move. I will be sharing a small classroom with another special education teacher, so an easel would be very handy for our small space.
The personal sized whiteboards would also benefit my students during our small group time. They will be able to use them to answer questions, practice sight words and math facts, and so much more. Children love using whiteboards, they would bring something different to my small groups so that I could change up my lessons each day.
I am a special education teacher so having the wobble chair in my classroom could benefit one or all of my students. The wobble chair could potentially help a student focus and become motivated to learn. I would rotate students so all of them can get the opportunity to use it until I am able to get more for my classroom.
