During storytime, while reading the story and discussing the character and their situations. The children will learn to connect their own experiences with the characters in the book. Children will learn that everyone has similar feelings they are not alone in their feelings.
Children will learn to share and show empathy for others. The children will increase their social and emotional vocabulary. Children will learn to express their feeling in an appropriate manner and learn that all feelings are OK. It's how we deal with our feelings that can cause struggles. The children will be entertained by the colorful animation in the stories and they connect the content to the concept.
