I am a 7th Grade Science Teacher in Kingstree, SC. We have about 140 students in 7th Grade who have the thirst of knowledge in Science to experience the Hands-on activities.
We call our class a SUPERHERO class. My Superheroes are so excited and looking forward for great STEAM activities this academic year. I always wanted to do the best for my Superheroes.
I like to teach academic standards through hands-on dissection. This year we choose to dissect frog because their body provide a good overview of the organ systems of a complex living thing. The organs present in the frog is the same way they laid out in the human body. This is the insight for students about how their bodies work. We need dissecting sets as well. The dissecting sets are commonly made of stainless/surgical steel for resistance to corrosion and safe to use them. Dissection is one of those projects students never forget. Your help will give my Superheroes an opportunity to participate in the hands on activity pertaining to the human body system, which will trigger their minds to explore the real world application.
