This is my first year teaching and I'm so excited! I would love to offer students a more organized class library. The storage containers will allow me to organize my books for easy access to students. I also have some other pocket charts that will help organize our classroom. I would also love to offer flexible seating in the classroom during the day. The rug and ottomans will offer a modern look and good feeling for students to work jointly on assignments. This area can also be used as a reading corner. The stools will serve purpose in many areas throughout the day. Students will have access to fidget bands on their seats to alleviate some restlessness with our long afternoons. I'd also like to offer a sensory bin of supplies to students as needed that include stress balls, thinking putty and other fidgets. Student truly enjoy having options to choose where they learn best. I want them to know that I am here for them. I look forward to building relationships with my students as well as their families. I can't wait to incorporate all these learning tools so my students can have a successful year!
