My students will be starting their 4th grade year in a new unfamiliar building. Our district is also moving towards being trauma informed as well. Knowing that many students come to school worried about things that have no relation to school. By offering a colorful inviting classroom with flexible seating options I want students to walk in every day knowing they are in a safe space. Safe to learn, grow, and make friends all while being able to put their best effort towards their academics. The motivational posters will remind students daily that they can be successful. The flexible seating will allow them to be comfortable while they are working around the room in groups or with partners. I appreciate the help making it a successful year for my students!
