With your help, I will be able to furnish areas in my classroom, have materials to implement work based learning stations, provide a variety of manipulatives to differentiate instruction for my diverse learners, and extend opportunities for my students to decrease their sensitivities from a variety of sensory activities.
Autistic students are routine driven. With the materials for this project, it will allow me to operate my stations efficiently and make sure my routines are consistent. Since autistic students are easily over-stimulated, I want to ensure that I have ways and tools that will assist me with de-stimulating my students when they become overwhelmed.
