As a first year special education teacher, I hope to give my students options to sit where they need to learn best. We will start with small groups and be sent to independent learning to finish out each lesson where they will be able to choose their seats and practice responsibility as they use them. Students will be encouraged to move if they need and to make the best choice for themselves. The students will figure out where and how they learn best. I know these seats will improve student learning in my classroom as well as help create a fun environment to learn in.
