Many of our students come from challenging financial situations at home. To not be able to come to school in the school uniform, creates a sense of otherness that may impact their academic and social success at school. Uniforms help put students on a level playing field and unites the school community. If also fosters a sense of pride in themselves and their school. Both of which go a long way in helping improve the confidence level of students in class. They also reduce the number of distractions that that regular street clothes may cause. Looking good in their uniforms may translate to better performance in school. Our students deserve that chance.
