These flexible seating options will make our classroom more comfortable and productive for young learners.
1st graders are growing quickly and sometimes their bodies are more comfortable outside of their desk chairs. Motion stools help students stabilize their bodies and work on core strength. Sleeping mats will give students cozy places to read during our language arts time and when someone needs a nap. Sit-upons are great to move around the room to find the perfect spot for learning. They also help students with sensory issues regulate the space of their seat when on the carpet or in small groups. The beanbag chair is a great spot to curl up with a good book.
