Hi! Reading about social emotional behaviors and learning will help all the students at my school by getting better at getting along with others, helping out, and becoming better, kinder, and well-mannered individuals who learn and try to make the world a better place. I will use those books as children come into my office for various reasons, but I will also incorporate them into my counseling character education lessons. I teach counseling lessons that deal with character education such as: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, caring, citizenship, and fairness. Through various resources, I present to the students PowerPoint presentations, videos and foster discussion.
