The research from SeniorLiving.org shows that Montana once again in 2019 has the nation's highest suicide rate, as well as high rates for women and Native Americans. This is not something we are proud of, yet the majority of our students have experienced a friend, family member or family friend commit suicide. A project we would like to do this year in technology is create calendars. These calendars will focus on Making it count...everyday might not be good but there is good in everyday! Our students will be taking pictures of things that make them SMILE, reasons to LIVE! The importunt things to us like family, friends, pow-wows, school, mountains, lake, sunsets, swimming, sports, etc. This calendar will help us focus on the little things we forget about when we are consumed with the negative.
