By donating to this project, you will be nurturing and enhancing the love of reading for 26 fifth-graders in a small, rural school. These books will help in so many ways from expanding their vocabulary to learning about different historical events and even taking them to places they’ve never even dreamed of! Many of the students in my classroom are from single-parent homes, low-income families, and are unable to purchase books on their own. By donating these books to my classroom, these students will be able to borrow these books and will be encouraged to find a passion for reading!
