In this brave new world of distance learning, many things look different about school this year. One of the biggest changes we face is where the school takes place. Many of my students struggle to be understood or pay attention in a typical classroom setting. Teleconference platforms for distance learning can further diminish my students' sound quality/intelligibility, making them even harder to understand. Additionally, without our students in the classroom, we lose the ability to eliminate distractions.
These headphones with microphones will allow me, other staff, and classmates to better understand and hear my students with communication disorders. The headphones also reduce noise and help students tune out the distractions at home and improve their ability to focus on instruction.
