My students will use these manipulatives throughout the school year by participating in morning brain bins. Every morning the students will explore and problem solve by constructing open ended products while communicating with their peers in small groups. This will allow students to ease into the school day and to get their brains thinking. Each student will rotate through each brain bin throughout the week. Every two weeks the materials in the brain bins will be switched out, so each student has the opportunity to explore the materials. What a wonderful way to begin the school day! Get your brains ready... Ready, Set, Create!
