In my classroom, the students rotate daily within centers/working stations. My goal is to be able to fill these stations with materials and manipulatives that will help these young learners. In the Pk world, students learn by exploring, touching, playing and sharing ideas with their peers. With these materials, they will be engaged in learning while playing and having fun. The whole purpose is for them to learn to problem solve and cooperate with each other so they can become productive working citizens. PK is the foundation of a child's school journey so it's important for them to be able to apply what they have learned.
